What it means to instant sell CS2 skins

On the Steam Market or a P2P marketplace, you list a skin and wait for another player to buy it. That can take minutes or weeks, and the price can drop while you wait. When you instant sell, nobody else is involved: SkinCashier buys the items itself, at the price you see after you sign in with Steam.

Pick the skins you want to sell, accept one trade offer from our bot in the Steam app, and the sale is done. The money goes to your SkinCashier balance, and you cash it out with one of the payout methods above.

When you get your money

The sale is instant. The cash out depends on two things, and it's better to know them before you trade.

CS2 items: Steam's 7-day trade protection

Since 2025, Steam lets the sender reverse a CS2 trade for 7 days after it's made. That's why we release the money for CS2 items once this protection period ends. It applies to every CS2 trade on any site, not only ours. Rust, TF2 and Dota 2 items aren't covered by trade protection, so CS2 items and items from other games go in separate trades.

Your payout method

Once the money is on your balance, you withdraw it to PayPal, Bitcoin, Ethereum or another method listed above. Each one shows its fee and limits before you confirm, and the processing time depends on the method itself.

How we price your skins

Every price starts from the item's current Steam Market price. We then adjust it for how stable that price is and how many of the same item we already hold. Our prices are lower than Steam Market listings for a simple reason: a Steam Market sale pays you in Steam Wallet funds, Steam adds about 15% in fees on top of your price, and that money can't leave Steam. We pay real money. You see the exact amount for each skin before you send anything, so compare it with other sites and decide.

Who you're selling to

SkinCashier has been buying skins since 2019 and is run by a company registered in Poland. Company details, reviews and the most common complaints are on Is SkinCashier legit?. Want to sell something other than CS2 skins? We buy Rust skins, TF2 items and Dota 2 items the same way.

SkinCashier pays out to PayPal and crypto, and every method shows its fee and limits before you withdraw. More on why Steam Wallet funds can't be cashed out in this guide.

Because of Steam's trade protection. Steam lets the sender reverse a CS2 trade for 7 days, so we release the money for CS2 items when that period ends. CS2 items themselves are never put on a trade hold. Rust, Dota 2 and TF2 trades can be held for up to 15 days if the Steam Guard Mobile Authenticator hasn't been active on your account for 7 days. You can check your trade hold on Steam.

Yes. Sell your skins, then pick PayPal when you withdraw your balance. The PayPal fee, minimum and maximum are shown when you withdraw, and you see the exact amount before you confirm. Crypto works the same way if you prefer Bitcoin, Ethereum or Litecoin.

A Steam Market sale pays in Steam Wallet funds that can't be withdrawn, Steam adds about 15% in Steam and game fees on top of your price, and you still have to wait for a buyer. We buy right away and pay real money, so our price is the Steam Market price minus the cost and risk of reselling the item. You see the exact price of each skin before you trade.

We don't buy every item. Very cheap skins, skins with an unstable price and skins we already hold too many of aren't accepted. After you sign in, you see a price only for the items we can buy. Each payout method also has its own minimum and maximum amount, shown when you withdraw.

You sign in through Steam's own login page, so we never see your password, and items move in a regular Steam trade offer that you confirm in the Steam Mobile app. Check that the offer contains only the skins you chose before you confirm.
