Selling CS2 skins for PayPal on SkinCashier
When you sell CS2 skins for PayPal here, nobody else is involved: SkinCashier buys the skins itself. You sign in with Steam on Steam's own login page, pick the skins and see the price of each one. Then you accept one trade offer from our bot in the Steam Mobile app.
You can choose PayPal and enter your PayPal email when you sell, and the money is sent there once it's released. Or keep it on your SkinCashier balance and withdraw it to PayPal later.
How PayPal payouts work
We pay through PayPal's Payouts service to the PayPal email address you enter, in US dollars. The withdrawal is sent automatically when you request it, so nobody has to approve it by hand. How quickly the money shows up in your PayPal account depends on PayPal.
The PayPal fee is 2% of the withdrawal, the minimum is $1 and the maximum $10,000. Before you confirm, you see the fee and the exact amount you will receive.
When you get paid for CS2 skins
Steam lets the sender reverse a CS2 trade for 7 days after it's made. That's why we release the money for CS2 items once this trade protection ends. It applies to every CS2 trade on any site, not only ours. If you picked PayPal when you sold, the payout is sent to PayPal at that point.
Sell Rust skins for PayPal, plus TF2 and Dota 2 items
We pay to PayPal for Rust skins, TF2 items and Dota 2 items too. These games aren't covered by trade protection, so the money is on your balance right after the trade. CS2 items and items from other games go in separate trades.
If a PayPal payout fails
If PayPal declines, blocks or returns a payout, we mark it as failed and the money goes back to your SkinCashier balance. You also get an email about it.
Check your PayPal email address before you confirm. If it isn't linked to a PayPal account, PayPal can't deliver the money, and the payout stays pending until it's claimed or canceled. If that happens, contact our support via live chat.
PayPal doesn't allow payouts to some countries. In that case the payout fails and is refunded to your balance, and you can withdraw to Bitcoin, Ethereum or Litecoin instead.
PayPal money vs Steam Wallet funds
A Steam Market sale pays you in Steam Wallet funds. You can spend them on Steam, but you can't withdraw them to PayPal or a bank, and Steam adds about 15% in fees on top of your price. Our prices are lower than Steam Market listings, but we pay real money, and you see the exact amount for each skin before you send anything. More on this in our guide to withdrawing money from a Steam Wallet.
